An eclipse of Venus are rare events will happen tonight, dated May 16, 2010. Astronomers the world are waiting for this event. According to Director of Bosscha Observatory, Lembang, West Java, Judge L. Sloth, Venus eclipse was very interesting because it will happen again in the future in 2050.
Venus eclipses occur when Earth, Moon and Venus are in parallel positions. From Earth, Venus will appear to disappear for a moment as it is covered by the moon. Venus seems to move to the back months. Astronomers call it the occultation.
The judge explained that this evening crescent moon will be because he was only 2 days or new moon. At around 18:00 pm Venus will begin to look to the left of the crescent. After that, Venus will slowly disappear and will reappear at around 19:30 in the sky but its position moves to the left under the moon. Do not miss this rare occurrence.
